Ken Beattie from the B.C. Craft Beer Guild talks about  Cedric's winter beer, Biere d'Hiver..      


    Many congratulations to Townsite Brewery for gaining 2 awards in the 2013 BC Beer Awards.


2nd for their Pow Town Porter in the Brown/Porter categary and

3rd  for their Biere D'Hiver Winter  Ale in the Strong  categary.

Townsite Brewing Inc is a microbrewery located in the historic Townsite district of Powell River, at the top of BCs beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Wildwood's Red Lion Pub and Off-license is one of the very first neighbourhood pubs in British Columbia and the owner Tanya sells Zunga and Sunshine Coast craft beers from Townsite Brewery.  Tanya
also has Fat Tug, (Driftwood Brewery) on tap ( the only pub in Powell River).  Fat Tug won Gold in the IPA categary of the 2013 B.C Beer Awards and was named BC Beer of the Year in the 2013 CAMRA Awards, it was also Canadian Beer of the Year in the 2012 Canadian Beer Awards.
